Hi, I’m Kristen.
A mother, a dreamer, and your Khemist.

I’m a single mother working hard to build a beautiful life for my son. He is the heart behind my ambition and the reason I keep growing, learning, and reaching for more. Providing for him matters deeply to me, and so does becoming the best version of myself and the best mother I can be.

I’ve always loved smelling good. There’s something special about finding a scent that makes you feel beautiful, put together, and ready to walk into the world with confidence. I wanted to share that feeling with others, and that love became The Khemist.

The K is for Kristen, but the heart of this brand is connection: to yourself, to the little rituals that make you feel good, and to the confidence you carry when you look and smell your best. My goal is to create fragrance and body care that feel personal, thoughtful, and worth making room for in your everyday life.

Black Women in Love, my first perfume prototype, is where this journey begins. Sweet, soft, and floral, it represents a dream I’m bringing to life one step at a time. I’m starting with perfume and looking ahead to whipped body butters, building this brand with care and intention as each idea takes shape.
